Hello Splatters!
I've decided to start a blog to document the recent odd events at The Borkoshavski Academy, and to hopefully chronicle for anyone seeking knowledge. And, if I'm going to be doing that, I think it is best to start off with a brief recap of events thus far. So... that's what this introduction will be.
Section One - First Semester
1) A new student, Opal Yazzie, would arrive and quickly become a part of our friend group. She has an odd memory, and tells many contradictory stories. She quickly becomes popular within the school for revamping our school's outdated website, as well as building a website for the Olympian Archives.
2) In roughly December of 2005, Icarus Borkoshavski would disappear off of the face of the planet following a sharp decline in his mental health. This disappearance has been attributed by many close to him as a byproduct of severe PTDS (Post-Traumatic Doorway Syndrome.)
3) Myself, alongside Opal Yazzie, Rowan Leiberman, and Irie Kehindie, would reform the Olympian Archives, an offshoot of the now defunct Claremont Program. The media within the archive is completely safe, and has not had any impact on the mental wellbeing of those who have interacted with it.
Section Two - Second Semester
4) Following the disappearance of Icarus, interactions with local legend "The Borkoshavski Bohemian," would spike dramatically, following a previous spike in 1999 following the death of Starman. These interactions would result in dramatic increases to the powers of Borkoshavski Academy students to a near uncontrollable level. Victims of the Borkoshavski Bohemian's wrath (that have been reported) include Daphne Flores, Irie Kehindie, Ashley Camaro, Rowan Leiberman, and Christopher Lyes.
5) Opal and I would launch an investigation into this "Borkoshavski Bohemian," resulting in Opal experiencing a strange vision, in which she heard the Bohemian speak directly to her:
"It’s been eight months since she left. The isolation has been killing me, but all I’m thankful for is that she’s been in a better place. Not here. Not this hell. I’m going to screech. (SCREECH)
That screech took me ten thousand years. I am this horribly thin creature, with eyes of pain, and tears of fire. I have no mouth. And I must scream."
I'm not entirely sure how to handle this. To be frank, I feel vastly underqualified and underprepared, however... I am beginning to formulate a plan. In 2000, a statue commemorating Starman would be built, and shortly thereafter, a LOT of members of the Stars, including Tracey Track, would disappear. Why?
Well... I believe that their collective grief over Starman's death, as well as the death of their fellow comrades, was part of an experiment done by the statues' builders (LyesCorp) to generate an artificial Doorway. And I've had some anonymous sources of mine even clarify this. However... I'm not quite sure I can trust my sources.
However, if this Artificial Doorway even EXISTS, much less is functional, it can be our one shot at finding Icarus. Tomorrow, I'm going to run this by everyone and hope that they're willing to hear me out. There's only a few days before the last day of school, so... Ugh. This is stressful.
I hope this works.
See ya, Hasaan
